Charlie, so much of this resonated with me. I read about 100 books a year and get the same reaction from non-bookish people. Libby has become one of my favorite discoveries, and Julia Whelan is one of those narrators who can elevate almost any book. (Marin Ireland and Genevieve Gaunt are two of my other favorites.) I've found myself gravitating toward historical fiction lately because I love how a novel can teach you something without ever feeling like a history lesson. Right now I'm reading The Windsor Affair by Melanie Benjamin and have already learned so much about the British royal family in the 1930s. Looking forward to following along with your page. Okay, if we like the same books and the same narrators, it stands to reason we probably like the same movies too, which means I have to ask: did we just become best friends? (If you know, you know. Ha.) Adding The Windsor Affair to my TBR right now. And you've just made me realize I need to build separate Libby tags for Marin Ireland and Genevieve Gaunt, because I'm almost through everything Julia Whelan has narrated and clearly need my next narrators lined up.
