Everything I read this month, which was less than usual for a very good reason, the rabbit holes each one sent me down, and what they're all turning into.
I also loved Buckeye and gave it five stars. I know you previously recommended Women's Hotel as a novel I might want to write about, but I had no idea Mara Wilson narrated the audiobook!
I would put Siren Says by Jennifer Herrera on your TBR now. It comes out in less than three weeks and I'll be reviewing it soon. So good and so witchy, but Welsh this time!
Glad to see Buckeye earned five stars. It is finally close to the top of my TBR. I should read it between now and Labor Day. Originally picked up for the same reasons you did. But I also plan on reading it at the request of a friend who did not like it as much as most and wants to discuss it with someone she knows.
Buckeye between now and Labor Day sounds like a solid plan, especially with a friend already lined up to hash it out with you afterward. Curious which side of that conversation you end up on.

Honestly, same. I didn't clock it either until I was putting together my monthly recap and just stopped and went, wait, that was Matilda?!

Witchy and Welsh, say no more. Adding it now.
Yay! I read it in an ARC and absolutely loved it.
